I work as a nonfiction editor, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that mushrooms and bugs and stars are sort of my life. Aside from endless photos of my kids, it’s a pretty good bet that every fifth photo on my phone camera is of a bug or a mushroom or a shot taken while hovering over our well-used microscope in our home science lab. This is a sampling of those photos. If you would like to use one for something, just shoot me an email. If it’s for a non-commercial project/product, I’ll almost certainly let you use it, and even if it’s commercial, I’m usually fine with that too, as long as I can snag a copy of the book for my library.
